We can conduct a historical search on your property. Historical searches involve tracing the ownership backward and copying each title in the chain of dealing with the land in question. We would require a title number or a legal description in order to start the search. For a historical search we also require a  deposit please see land titles fees schedule. This allows us to search back back on the last 10 titles (cost per title). If the search turns up the results you need prior to searching back 10 titles, you will be refunded the remainder of the deposit. If the search reaches 10 titles and it has not gone back as far enough for the information you are looking for, we will contact you at that point to determine how you want to proceed.
