An up-to-date search of your title will show you all the registered charges on your title including any active mortgages.
You can search official land titles records in Manitoba using Title Check. To begin your search, you'll need your title number. You can find this number on your Notice of Registration statement, property tax bill, or on an older copy of your Title.
You may also be able to get your title number in one of the following ways:
• Contact the City of Winnipeg Assessment and Taxation Department (for properties within the city).
• Search with the Government of Manitoba Property Assessment tool (for municipalities).
Search for a Title:
1. Enter the title number in the search field.
2. Select the title you want to order from the search results.
3. Enter your contact information for the receipt and pay for your order.
4. Download all PDF copies of your order and your receipt.
